Rain didn't stop the activities in the garden on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, arranged by special activities coordinator, Kristie Powell and parent, Sonia Laudi.
Needless to say, this was the agenda.
Bard students came out during Dean's Hour.
Sonia gave a demonstration on composting
and transplanting.
Students were supplied with plenty of plants,
and tools to work with.
Members Lucy Arnerich-Hatch and Diana (President) of the Eco Club got their hands dirty.
Other students wore gloves.
It will be interesting to compare these photos of the pots of young plants with photos we'll take in August...
